Junior Tournaments
All program participants must register online at matchpointtennis.ca. All program participants must sign a waiver and comply with all rules and regulations set by the City of Oshawa, Whitby Tennis Club (May to September) and Matchpoint Tennis.
JUNIOR GROUP LESSONS - 5 Session
Session 1: January - Februray
Session 2: March - April
Session 3: May - June
Session 4: September - October
Session 5: November - December
The registration is open to anyone and is based on junior's age and previous tennis experience.

JUNIOR HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING
We offer the following High Peformance Programs:
U9 HP - program to start in September (orange balls, 3/4 court)
U10 HP - program to start in September (green dot, full court)
U12 HP - Tuesdays 5:00-6:20pm and Fridays 5:30-7:00pm
U14 HP - Mondays 5:30-7:00pm & Fridays 6:30-8:00pm
U16 HP - Wednesdays 5:00-7:00pm, (program full)
Here are the basic facts about the HP programs:
- this program is suitable for players that are at the advanced level and are or want to become tournament players
- the weekly training includes technical (strokes biomechnics), tactical (phases and styles of play), physical (advanced footwork) and psychological topics (focus retention, mental toughness)
- the HP Group Programs need to be suplemented by private training
HP Requirements:
- to be consider for the program all interested participants must attend and pass on court (technical, tactial and match play) evaluation
- players that fall short of the minimum HP requirements each age division, will be provided with recommendation how to get to the HP level

JUNIOR INTER-CLUB LEAGUE (May and June only)
This is a competitive league and is suitable for players who train all year round and are part of Matchpoint High Performance Programs. Juniors compete as a team, playing singles and doubles against clubs from across the GTA. Matches are played on Saturday and/or Sunday through May and June. This league is part of the WTC programming (and all the participants must become members of WTC).
SUMMER TENNIS CAMPS
The summer tennis camps are run on a weekly basis during the months of July and August. Camps are run in two locations.
