May-June 2025 Adult Group Tennis Lessons (Outdoor Courts at the Iroquois Park in Whitby)

Levels: Beg/Beg+, Low Int, Int, High Int/Adv
Monday: May 3 - June 14, 6 weeks, cost: $150 + hst (no tennis May 19)
The registration is open to anyone and is based on first come first served basis.

If you are not sure which clinic is best for you, please give us a call to arrange a tennis evaluation. Please note that players can be evaluated by attending one of the sessions of tennis aerobics.
Sign-up is based on a first come, first served basis.

Please register by using our online registration. In case if you would prefer to use a differnet form of payment than a credit card, we accept cash and e-transfer. Please register online and send us e-transfer the same day to matchpoint.tennis@rogers.com and/or drop off cash at our pro-shop.

Beginner Tennis Lessons are for players with little or no previous experience. There will be an introduction to forehand, backhand, serve, return and volley. Basic singles and doubles court position and strategy will be covered. Players will get familiar with tennis rules and etiquette.

Players must have taken previously beginner level and are able to rally 3/4 to full court.

Players must know proper grips and have a basic knowledge of court position for singles and doubles. Players must be able to control rallies by appliing spins . Introduction to more advanced bio-mechanics on ground strokes, volley, overhead and serve. Phases of play (serving, returning, ralliing, attackig) and doubles players responsibility will be covered.
