1. Outdoor Tennis Courts at the Iroquois Park - 500 Victoria Street West, Whitby - Half Day/Full Day, Ages 5-15
2. Outdoor Tennis Courts at the Folkstone Park - 222 McKinney Drive, Whitby - Half Day, Ages 5-11

Iroquois Park - Full Day (9am-3:30pm), Half Day (9am-12pm) or (12:30-3:30pm): July 2-5* (Tue-Fri), July 8-12, July 15-19, July 24-28, July 29-Aug.2, Aug.6-9* (Tue-Fri), Aug.12-16
Folkstone Park - Half Day (9am-12pm): July 8-12, July 15-19, July 24-28, July 29-Aug.2, Aug.12-16
Pricing:
Full Day Camp - Full Week (Monday to Friday) - $280+HST first week, $270+HST additional week
Full Day Camp - Short Week (Tuesday to Friday) - $230+HST first week, $220+HST additional week
Half Day Camp - Full Week (Monday to Friday) - $180+HST first week, $170+HST additional week
Half Day Camp - Short Week (Tuesday to Friday) - $150+HST first week, $140+HST additional week
Extended Care:
Extended care is available at extra cost (Monday to Friday), 7-9am (early arrival) or 3:30-5:30pm (late departure) for $7 per hour per child.
Additional Information
Matchpoint Tennis Camps have been run for 24 years. The camps are perfect for beginner to intermediate level players, Players will be grouped together based on their age and ability.
All programs run by Tennis Canada certified instructors and coaches
- Campers will follow Tennis Canada’s “Play Tennis Award Program”.
- On court information: Players will be on the court 60%-70% of the day. This includes tennis instruction and playing.
- Instruction will cover forehand, backhand, serve, return, volleys and overhead (proper grips, set ups, striking zone, contact points and recovery).
- Players will be introduced to the following Ball Controls: height, distance, direction and spin and will vary depending on the age and ability.
- Basic court positioning and rules of singles and doubles as well as tennis etiquette will be covered.
- Daily games will include Singles, Doubles, Beat the Coach, King of the Court, King of the Hill, Winners, Jail Break, Around the World and Team Tennis.
- Emphasis will be on good sportsmanship and having fun!
- Every Friday is Tournament Day where everyone will receive a prize and a free T-Shirt.
- Off Court time includes: water breaks (every 15-20minutes, half day - one snack break, full day camp - two snack breaks and one hour lunch).
- Tennis Trivia and other off court sports/games including; mini soccer, frisbee, volleyball, soccer baseball, capture the flag, etc.
- Racquets available at no charge if needed.
All campers must bring/wear:
- A hat/visor, athletic shoes, athletic clothing,
- A Sunscreen, a refillable water bottle.
- Nut Free snacks and lunch.
- A tennis racquet and a small towel.
